Sitting in a slow moving boat with my arm slung over the side, I felt the water pass through my fingers. I watched the water as it separated between each digit, and formed shapes. With the sunlight reflecting on every ripple, I knew I wanted to be a painter when I grew up. I felt like I never wanted to lose that image in my minds eye, and painting it in some form or capturing it some way, was what I would do.
