Reader Challenges - 6 Word Autobiography
Beginning, growing, learning, loving, aging, sharing.
Cross Country - Too gory, underdeveloped characters, predictable massacres.
This bombardment of constant graphic gore is sick. Unless you're allready sick, this kind of gore won't sell more novels. More development of the characters would have been nice, especially Moses. He should have continued as a sidekick throughout the African visit. The China connection was under explained, it was stuck in at the end... and the Flaugherty character wasn't bad enough. It's hard to relate to 10 year old mass murderers running wild in DC . Maybe in some other country? The over the top gore makes the reader sick after awhile, we don't need all the grisly details for a tradgedy to leave an impression. It was not "gripping suspense" . The reader always knows Cross is going to escape and have another close call in the next chapter, too predictable. And who the heck was Kyle and what did Millard have to do with it? Too many questions left at the end of the book. Ok but not great.
