Reader Challenges - 6 Word Autobiography

Insecure in all of my prospects.

Reader Challenges - Before I die...

Finish writing my novel.

Pygmalion - A Disappointing Ending

I really liked this play, however the ending made me sad. Maybe I'm just one of those hopeless romantics, but i sincerely wished that Higgins and Eliza would set aside there differences and get together. Nothing against Freddy, of course. It just seemed like the would, until the end of the fourth act. I still loved it.

The Minister's Black Veil - Loved it

I really enjoyed this short, especially right after reading The Scarlett Letter. The mystery and horror hidden in the minister's veil was very intriguing. Mmm, i loved it.

Book: The Sequel - An Entertaining Read

I enjoyed this little . . . whatever you call it. (It's not quite a book) It took me five minutes to read it, but i thoroughly enjoyed those five minutes. It was witty and clever.

Question of the Week - Question of the Week #14: Books You Hate

I really could not stand Wuthering Heights. I found Heathcliff and Catherine to be very disagreeable. I could hardly stand them.

Etc. - Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

I do like these books. They're fun and Stephenie Meyer is a fabulous writer, i might add.

Reader Challenges - 6 Word Autobiography

curious as a wide eyed child.

Etc. - Question of the Week #19: Favorite Poems

The Cross of Snow
by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
In the long, sleepless watches of the night,
A gentle face--the face of one long dead--
Looks at me from the wall, where round its head
The night-lamp casts a halo of pale light.
Here in this room she died, and soul more white
Never through martyrdom of fire was led
To its repose; nor can in books be read
The legend of a life more benedight.
There is a mountain in the distant West
That, sun-defying, in its deep ravines
Displays a cross of snow upon its side.
Such is the cross I wear upon my breast
These eighteen years, through all the changing scenes
And seasons, changeless since the day she died.
----{----@ i love it....

Question of the Week - Question of the Week #26: Once upon a time...

sleeping beauty

Etc. - 50 Word Challenge

She always said she would escape someday. But we didn’t believe her. She was always a dreamer, staring out the window, waiting for her prince to rescue her. But we lived our lives, breathing, and focusing. We didn’t realize how desperate she was until she ran away with the hippies.

i love this!!!!

Etc. - 50 Word Challenge

We packed our bags into the car the morning before the derby. Lydia stood outside, sad faced and teary.
“What’s wrong, Lydia, sweetie?” We asked kindly.
“I hate horses.” She said, tromping off to her room.
The next day we forced her into the car and headed for the races.

Dracula - Delightful

Although slightly difficult (for me) to get through, it is a wonderful story and enjoyed every minute of it.

Etc. - Title = a person's name.

The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde
Anna Karenina - Leo Tolstoy

Etc. - 50 Word Challenge

His eye twitches with tension. He licks his lips and stares into his opponent’s eyes.
“Ready?” He questions the other, squinting his eyes. The other nods and balls his right hand into a fist. He does the same.
One, two, three!
Hands pounding, they show the weapon. Paper beats rock.
